Unipolar Signal

Unipolar means one pole. Unipolar signals or ranges do not change polarity during normal operation.  Reversed connection to a
unipolar input will produce minimum value and, if diagnostics are available, underrange or open wire faults. Examples: 0-10 Volts DC, or 4-20mA signals.
